DC SEAL

Deputy Commander

Systems Engineering, Acquisition & Logistics

The objective of this effort is to enhance the Government’s ability to ensure that material solutions acquired or adopted by the United States Marine Corps (USMC) are designed, developed, fielded, and sustained in a manner that ensures horizontal integration across programs, maximizes the collective capability those programs deliver, and ultimately provides the warfighter a holistically orchestrated system of systems capability. Because SEAL is deeply involved in all aspects of systems engineering, technical development and support, System of Systems (SoS) optimization, and requirements coordination and allocation performed across the multiple product lines of both MCSC and Program Executive Officer (PEO) Land Systems (LS), this effort shall enhance seamless integration and maximum interoperability of material across USMC, Naval, Joint, and Department of Defense (DoD) programs.

LTC Solutions is pleased to continue our support to the Deputy Commander, Systems Engineering and Acquisition Logistics (DC SEAL) at Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) in Quantico, VA. LTC Solutions is a sub-contractor to ManTech International.

SEAL is responsible for ensuring that material solutions developed or acquired by Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) are system engineered, integrated, interoperable, and certified to provide the warfighter with equipment required to accomplish their mission. To do that, SEAL conducts the detailed systems engineering analysis, establishes technical policies and guidance across the Command, and manages the technical investigation and distributed planning required to deliver world class Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) systems capabilities to the warfighter.

MAGTF systems engineering and integration combines numerous engineering disciplines with the detailed technical and analytical processes required to define, integrate, certify, plan, and oversee the development/sustainment of MAGTF systems. This effort requires research, engineering, science, technology, rapid prototyping, development, advisory, and integration to provide technical expertise on the application of information technology, process and policy improvements, systems and integration improvements to address gaps in Marine capabilities from the tactical to strategic level.
